Law firm websites, built or taken over, with hosting and care.
Start from one of three sample designs or a custom design. We move your current site, including pages, attorney bios, articles, and the redirects that let search visibility carry over, build on standard, widely supported tools rather than a closed platform, and then host and care for the site, with changes on request.

What is different in this industry
The requirements that change the work.
Clients compare firms on the site
Many people with a legal problem look at several firms online before they call. Practice area pages, attorney bios, and a clear way to make contact from a phone decide whether they reach out.
Advertising rules apply
State rules on lawyer advertising cover claims, testimonials, past results, and specialization. The firm’s lawyers review copy against the rules where they practice, and the site places disclaimers and responsible attorney notes where they belong.
Search visibility lives in the old addresses
Existing practice pages and articles have links and search history. Moving them without a redirect for every address throws that away, so the move is planned page by page.
Leaving a vendor should not mean losing the site
Sites on a closed platform can be hard to move. Built on standard, widely supported tools, the site can be maintained by another developer if the firm ever chooses.
What we build
Website design and development, applied here.
A sample design or a custom one
Three sample designs to start from: an established litigation firm, a corporate and business law firm, and a personal injury and family law firm. Or a design made for the firm.
Moving the current site
Pages, attorney bios, articles, and images carried over, with a redirect from every old address to its new page.
Contact on every page
Click-to-call, contact forms, and consultation requests that send details to the firm’s intake system.
Hosting and care
Hosting, security updates, backups, monitoring, and changes on request, such as a new attorney bio or practice page.
What a first release could include.
In the first release
A sample design adapted to the firm, or a custom design
Home, practice area, attorney, and contact pages
Every page, bio, and article moved from the current site
A redirect map from old addresses to new pages, checked after launch
Contact forms connected to the firm’s intake
Hosting and care from launch
Usually later
Plain-language guides for each practice area
Location pages where the firm has an office
Intake that answers inquiries and books consultations from the site
Systems in play
Standard, widely supported web frameworks
A content editor for articles, bios, and practice pages
Intake and practice systems: Clio, MyCase, Lawmatics, and similar
Scheduling and phone tools
Google Search Console and analytics the firm can access
The firm’s domain and DNS, changed only with its approval
Features
What the software can include.
Attorney profiles
Bios with practice areas, bar admissions, education, and publications, linked from each practice area.
Practice area pages
A page for each practice area, written in plain language, with a clear next step.
Contact built for phones
Click-to-call in the header and forms designed for phones, where many inquiries start.
Accessibility in the design
Readable type, keyboard navigation, visible focus, descriptive labels, and sufficient contrast, checked before launch.
Articles and announcements
An editor for articles and firm news, with categories and author pages.
Search foundations
Clean addresses, page titles, descriptions, structured data, and an XML sitemap at launch.
Personal injury and family practice
A dated site moves to a new design with every old address redirected.
A consumer practice with an older site often has a long archive of articles and a phone number buried in the footer. A first release starts from the personal injury and family sample design, puts the phone number in the header, and moves every practice page, attorney bio, and article to the new site. Each old address redirects to its new page, and the redirects are checked in Search Console after launch. The consultation form sends details to the firm’s intake system. Plain-language guides for each practice area are a sensible next phase.
Questions
Before you start.
What firms in this industry ask about this work.
Can we see the sample designs?
Yes. There are three, each a working site for an invented firm: an established litigation firm in deep navy and ivory with classic serif headings, a clean, modern corporate and business law firm with an attorney directory and full biographies, and a personal injury and family law firm with the phone number and a free consultation always in reach. The Law firms page links to all three. A custom design is always an option.
Will we lose search visibility when the site moves?
The move is planned to keep it. Every old address gets a redirect to its matching new page, titles and descriptions are carried over or improved, and the redirects are checked after launch. No one can promise search results, but a careful move keeps what the old site earned.
What do hosting and care cover?
Hosting, security and software updates, backups, monitoring, and changes on request, such as new attorney bios, practice pages, or articles. What is covered is set out in writing before the site launches.
Are we tied to a closed platform?
No. The site is built on standard, widely supported tools rather than a closed platform, so another developer could maintain it. What happens to the site and its content if the firm moves on is set out in writing.
Can you take over a site another company built?
Yes. We review what exists, move the content and redirects, and either keep the current design or start from a sample or custom design.
How is a site priced?
Each site is priced from a written scope based on the design, the pages and articles to move, and the connections it needs.
